So many people ask me what I’m most proud of nearly 30 years in valley radio. My answer is always the same. The Dave Pratt Dental Clinic for underprivileged kids. Our clinic is now in it’s 10th year of serving over 6000 kids. The Dave Pratt Dental Clinic for Kids is fully staffed with professional and brand new state of the art dental equipment. The children at our charity clinic are receiving the same level of top care as any other kid in the state.I am thankful to my listeners for supporting and funding our clinic. We raise funds in many different ways… on air drawings at the Hump Van, premium ticket sales, and on air auctions of autographed memorabilia, trips, and special opportunities.Many listeners donate items of value to help us raise funds such as unused tickets, services, or gift certificates. We use these items to raise funds on the air. Many listeners also make straight monetary donations. In either case, you can send your donations to:

• Among low-income children nationwide, almost 50% of tooth decay remains untreated, resulting in pain, dysfunction, underweight and poor appearance. These are all problems reducing a child’s capacity to succeed in school.
• Children loose approximately 52 million hours a year from school due to dental problems.
• The Dave Pratt Dental Clinic is a full service facility designed to provide dental services to children who do not have adequate insurance and could not otherwise afford proper dental care.
• It costs our clinic about $100 for each visit. Therefore, with 1500 patients per year, the annual cost of our clinic is around $150,000 (This is why we need you, my listeners rock).
• It costs an additional $50 for a child receiving a filling.
• It costs about $200 for a child treated for gum infections.
• It costs $375 to rebuild a child’s broken tooth.
• It costs $500 for a child to receive a root canal on a permanent tooth.
• Thanks to you, The Pratt Dental Clinic now serves over 5000 underprivileged kids per year.
